I was just wandering:
What Kenpo (or Kempo) does the Kenpochecker cover?
Only lineages that go back to Parker?
Anyone reltaed to Chow?
Anyone tracing back to Mitose?
We could name:
-Kempō Jiu Jitsu (Mitose)
-Shōrinji-Kempō (Mitose)
-Kosho Shōrei-Ryū Kempō (Mitose)
-Kenpō Karate (Chow)
-Chinese Kara-hō Kempō (Chow)
-Go Shin Jitsu Kenpō Karate (Chow)
-Original Kenpō (Parker)
-Traditional Kenpō (Parker)
-Chinese Kenpō (Parker)
-Ed Parkers Kenpō Karate (Parker)
-American Kenpō (Parker)
-Nick Cerio`s Kenpo (Cerio)
-Shaolin Kenpō (Ralph Castro)
-Tracys Kenpo Karate (Tracy)
-Chinese Kenpo (Sullivan/LeRoux)
.....
How about other Lineages of Kenpo/Kempo that have no connection to the Hawaiian lineage/s at all such as:
-Shaolin Kempo founded by Carl Faulhaber and Gerard Karel Meijers?
-Shōrinji-Kempō (Sō Dōshin / Nakano Michiomi)
-Ryūkyū Kempō (Taika Seiyu Oyata / George Dillman)
Just curious whats everyones view and opinion :)

As for your question Mr. Wolf - I'd say kenpochecker should be inclusive to all who fly skill under Kenpo / Kempo. We are a small bunch but still scrappy ;) - best to unify and allow all together in my opinion. I was unaware of some of the offshoots you listed, that is very cool.
Thank you!
I'd also be curious as to everyone's personal lineage in terms of progression etc. Especially in Kenpo, that is always interesting as we have had a fractured past for sure.
My lineage is as follows:
SGM Ed Parker > John McSweeney > Tom Saviano > me...
I was very fortunate to luck into finding a great "old school" teacher who was pragmatic and allowed us to cross-train and develop a style all our own.
Thank you!
